We are currently using the Lenovo 300e second generation Chromebook. They have a USBc universal charger. The school system issues the first charger. After that, if the charger is lost or broken, you would need to order one. They are available on Amazon and other sources. Just make sure it is for the Lenovo listed above.
If your student is given an older HP as a loaner while their Chromebook is out for repair, those Chromebooks use the same charger as the Lenovo.
If you are having problems or issues with your Chromebook, please drop it off at the Chromebook repair cart in the Library Media Center in the mornings before the end of Advisement each day. Our repair company currently picks up broken Chromebooks once a week on Tuesdays. In order to ensure that your Chromebook is sent off for repair on Tuesday, please turn it in before you leave school on Monday. Please remove all wireless devices and covers before you leave your Chromebook for repair. Once it arrives back at school and is ready for pick up, your teachers will receive an email to let you know that you need to come by the Library Media Center to pick it back up. If you don't pick it up soon after the teacher email goes out, Mrs. Pitts will email you individually to let you know it is ready for pick up.
See Mrs. K. Pitts if you have any questions or need any additional assistance with your Chromebook.
